Calculator inputs

Your ages, savings, spending and rate assumptions are processed in your browser. The calculator does not submit them to our server, store them in an account or send them as analytics events. Closing or reloading the page resets them unless a scenario link is opened.

A shared scenario places financial inputs in the URL fragment, after the #. Browsers do not send the fragment in the HTTP request. Anyone you send that full link to can read its inputs. The link can also remain in your own browser history. Copying it uses your device clipboard; exports and printed reports contain the figures you choose to export.

Website requests and cookies

Ordinary page requests expose information such as IP address, request path, browser headers and request time to the hosting infrastructure. Hosting access logs may process this information for operation and security. Calculator amounts are not included in request paths or query parameters by this tool. We have not established a fixed hosting-log retention period in this notice; contact us with a specific request.

The underlying site engine can set first-touch attribution cookies for campaign parameters and referring websites, lasting up to 30 days. Account sign-in uses authentication cookies. The free calculator does not require an account. Third-party analytics, advertising and support widgets are not configured in this initial release. Enabling them requires updating this notice and any necessary consent controls.

Accounts and correspondence

If you create an account through the site's optional account interface, the backend processes the details you provide, such as email, display name and protected authentication records. Emailing support sends your message and address through the email services you and the operator use. Do not send sensitive financial identifiers.

We use account and support information to provide the requested access, respond and address abuse. We do not sell calculator inputs. To request access, correction or deletion of information associated with an account or support request, email the contact above. Rights and any required records depend on applicable law; this notice does not assign a jurisdiction.
