Educational illustrations

Results are hypothetical calculations based on the numbers entered and the model described in our methodology. They are not personalized financial, tax or legal advice. No adviser-client relationship is created. No rate of return, retirement date, sustainable withdrawal or investment outcome is promised.

The tools do not simulate every part of a retirement plan. They exclude taxes, account contribution limits, benefit eligibility, market volatility and other factors identified on the page. You are responsible for checking inputs and considering whether a model fits the question you are exploring.

Access and acceptable use

The calculator is free and does not require an account or a purchase. Do not interfere with site operation, attempt unauthorized account or system access, impersonate another person, or use the service to misrepresent a financial result. Optional accounts must use accurate details and credentials you are authorized to use.

You may share a calculator link or an exported result. Sharing a scenario discloses its inputs to the recipients. Do not include someone else's private financial information without their authorization.
